We set-up our tent on the Wednesday and Thursday before the event. And it was HOT outside! We were preparing ourselves for the scorcher of a weekend that was coming. But we were ready for the people – all 160,000!
For those of you who were there, you saw our fancy schmancy set-up complete with photo-taking area and tons of Base Girls and Boys! Nous avons pris presque 1,300 photos pendant les deux jours. Vous êtes en train de les tagger et écrire des commentaires sur Facebook (merci).We had such a great time with all of you guys and though we were exhausted on Saturday night when we finally went home, we were sad for it to be over. There are many albums on Facebook already, and we’ll be posting them in our gallery as soon as we get our hands on them!
U2 proves once again that they are AWESOME! Les deux concerts étaient magnifiques. And they even played different set lists on both nights. This event was literally weeks of planning on our end, et sauf le méga orage – AMAZING! On a été chanceux d’avoir la chance a ecouté les deux concerts. Wow! Bono is ageless and his talent is limitless.
Backyard BBQ #1
We were in two places at once on Friday night. We certainly wouldn’t want to forget to give a shout-out to our new friend Kristina K who won last week’s Backyard BBQ contest with 94.7 Hits FM. This was definitely a creative bunch, putting their baby pool to good use by filling it up with ice and beverages. Our cans of base fit in quite nicely! We had a great night with you guys and are looking forward to BBQ #2 this Friday night. Congratulations again to Sam C who is this week’s big winner. We’ll see you on Friday night!
